The Burnley Team is currently the Top Team of our club. The team is playing in the first Regional Division, which is the third highest level in Mauritius.








The team was founded in late 1979 by around 20 yougsters in Beaux-Songes, but was not official registered. As from 1987 the team remained inactive before in 1989 a new generation of boys took the team activity in their hands.
This young group, namely Richard and Dandy André, Jean-Marc Berthelot, Dario Hypolite, P. Anodin, Arneaud and Eric Pitchen, J.Noel Togrece, Eric Tetu, Baba, Tony Tigresse, Ashok and Kishore Dewkurun ,Tilloo ,Ricardo Verloppe, Vieillesse, Ben and James Casquette, registered the team, organised matches and training sessions.

In 1991 the team started playing MFA (Mauritius Football Association) in the 3th regional division, in 2002 promoted to 2nd Division and in 2006 promoted in 1st Division, which was a great achievement. The team has currently about 30 members.
